Foggy

Mum had to get up early this morning  to make her appointment  for her shoulder ultrasound.  That meant that she had difficulty sleeping and was tired, which was annoying.   The city was super foggy today and traffic was horrendous.   Mum made it with 5 minutes  to spare which is good.   No tears in her shoulder  or bursitis,  just frozen - so no surprises.

She was going to go out for brunch  but the cold and fog were a bit depressing,  so mum got more groceries  and came home.  She made her own brunch  at home of ham, salad and bagels which she enjoyed  and were much cheaper  than going out.

Her lack of sleep  meant s nap was needed but I woke her up at 4pm.  Dinner time for me.  I had a feast and mum made a Thai beef salad later on.  Tasty!!

  1. We're glad there are no tears in your mum's shoulder, or bursitis, but how do you unfreeze it? Physiotherapy?

  2. We've got nice hot weather until the weekend..They predict
    35C to~day..so it's getting hotter..! :(.
Though besides the heat it's humid as well..! :(.

Something l looked up for Mum...

    Thawing a Frozen Shoulder..
Use your good arm to lift your affected arm at the elbow,
and bring it up and across your body, exerting gentle pressure
    to stretch the shoulder.
Hold the stretch for 15 to 20 seconds. Do this 10 to 20 times
    per day...or...
    A Physical Therapist..for 10-12 weeks..which can take up to
    2-3 months..!
I'm sure you can help Mum out Poppy!x

  3. Hopefully physio will cure your mum's shoulder, it did for my mum.

  4. A ‘frozen’ shoulder is probably the least of the evils your mum could be suffering, eh? I hope some physical exercises are all that’s needed to relieve it. I’m glad your mum saw someone about it.

I love a good fog. We don’t get one often on the prairies. You are by the sea, but I don’t recall too many instances of you showing or mentioning one. I love a good fog…
