It's Caturday and winter seems to have arrived. We've been having frosty cold nights but the days are sunny, but somewhat chilly. Good weather for soup and bagels says the munster. Good for sleeping and fancy feast says Poppyq.
Mum worked all day, so tonight she gave herself a facial scrub, lit the candles, put the movie Arrival on , got some Pepsi max out and is about to grab some chocolate out of the fridge (Whitakers berry and biscuit). Go mum!!

That is my favourite thing about winter, homemade soups and stews and not forgetting cottage pie. Good warming comfort food.

ReplyDeleteOh Poppy that sounded a great night for you both. Needing to be gluten free I have Llyint dark cocoa chocolate which I love but only in a couple of squares a night. I think my pest man has got rid of mice so I won’t invite you down. It is now about - 4 degrees so my electric blanket is on full use. As soon as our lovely government gave us oldies another $20 a month the power co. Put their prices up the same. Do you think that was cheeky Pops ?
