Holy moly it's wet outside. I only had to go out once and I'm going to stay tucked up warm inside. Mum had to go to work and got an uber in as it was bucketing down, so hard it was difficult for the driver to see, but they got to work safely. Roads across the city are flooded and some towns in the south island have had to evacuate due to flooding. We are safe where we live up on top of a hill though so don't worry about us.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you are safe from the flooding. It is awful the flooding that is happening in various parts of the world, particularly Germany, Belgium and NL. So much loss of life. We are getting hot sunny weather, maybe rather too hot!
ReplyDeleteWe live on top of the hill too, and it has been raining it seems like Non-Stop since April 1st. So much flooding here locally. What weather we're having spring and summer rain and you're having winter rain. Hope your city stay safe. And Poppy be sure you stay dry.
ReplyDeleteYikes! We're glad you're safe and dry, Poppy. We had 96 mm of rain (3.8 inches) in 30 minutes two nights ago....yesterday the biped got up to water in the basement. Not a flood, but a few pools of water here and there. Good thing the basement is unfinished!
