Mum took this photo last week when the skies were blue. Today it has been raining and the wind is whipping round at 140km/hr. Mum caught an uber home and the wind blew the door shut onto her sore shoulder - ouch!!
Mum liked this photo as it shows the small gap between our house and the house next door.
Yikes, I hope her shoulder feels better quickly. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThat gap between houses is barely big enough for a kitty to fit.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky that day, but bad bad door and wind, hitting mum like that.
Give her snuggles to relieve pain, every 2 hours per doctor.
Before my daughter bought a home in Wellington many years ago she rented a 2 story house in Kendalla. That was the same gap. The ground vibrated and we were woken up each morning with children running up and down stairs. Sometimes you could even hear their voices. It had great views. But not worth it. Many houses there were like that. Do you mind living so close.? If there was a fire imagine. We all moved to the country in different areas. I suppose everyone is different. Poor France and Germany. What terrible flooding. I have a family living there and haven’t heard.
ReplyDeleteThe two houses are really close together for sure, Poppy!
ReplyDeleteI like little passageways and hidden routes...
