Friday

Mum had a day off and was up early to head off to her hairdresser appointment.   She did lots of window shopping and noticed that town was busy , that combination of Black Friday sales and 4 weeks until Christmas.   She tried not to spend too much although she had seen a lamp she likes that is on sale.

She finished off with a visit to her two hotspots- the library and the supermarket.   She liked the pretty peonies on sale there, although she has never bought any as they're  not in her budget.  She did get some treats though, strawberries and blueberries for her and some foods for me.

Oh and on the bus on her way home she could not help but look at a woman wearing a winter jacket and scarf.  It's warm here people  a little windy but the sun has been shining all day.

  1. Love the picture of the beautiful flowers. We had rain all day yesterday on our Thanksgiving Day Holiday. Black Friday just makes me stay home, people are just so rude about shopping and shoving everything about. Have a wonderful weekend

  2. The flowers are lovely! Strawberries and blueberries are wonderful treats too, though. :-)

The biped might do some online Black Friday shopping if there's something that she really needs and/or wants. Tell your mum to go for the lamp if she can manage it, budget-wise. Life is short and it's depressing to live only to pay the bills. So splurge when/if you can!

  4. You know, I still have no idea what Black Friday is? I suppose it has something to do with shopping...

  5. Sounds like mum had a great time. Love her flower photo. I’m waiting for raspberries. It was really hot here yesterday but cold and drizzley today.
Is mum working over Christmas or having a break. Tell her to shout herself the lamp before it goes. ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐ŸŒˆ ๐Ÿญ
