Sorry if you are sick of us complaining about the weather, but mum has nothing exciting to report today. A sleep in and an explosive clean out of her wardrobe. It's been damp with lots of drizzle, and forecast for more of the same for the next few days. However the nice sunshine we have been having is already killing off our grass, something we don't usually see before summer has started.
Hence mums wardrobe rotation of swapping out boots and jumpers for shorts and sandals. I'm loving sniffing out the corners of the wardrobe and the smelly shoes in there.
We have had a few days of sunshine and it’s made a world of difference to the paddocks
ReplyDeleteAmd to our mental attitude. It was lovely being outside and doing things
We have had so much rain I was beginning to grow gills
Maybe that bit of drizzle will brighten up a brown grass. I wait all winter here to see lovely Green in the spring and the summer, so we certainly don't enjoy seeing it fade away too quick because it's so hot. We had a touch of snow during the night last night but it should melt off and have a more normal week ahead. In the meantime Poppy, enjoy time with mum.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, the smelly shoes one finds in their mum's closet! It's my favorite!
ReplyDeleteSorry your weather has been so up and down, Poppy and Mum. Poppy, it sounds like you are doing a good job snoopervising mum's wardrobe rotation.
ReplyDeleteI rather like drizzly days, especially if I have nowhere to go.
ReplyDeleteLukas loves smelly corners too. I hope you have a good day.
