Shift


 Normally when mum gets home, I rush to the door to greet her.  Tonight she finished her shift and managed to get into the bedroom before I woke up.  I was nice and warm and cozy, but glad to see her and get my dinner.

    Some of my cats are like that. Tucker and Hector and sometimes Renn come to meet me at the door when I return home; the others usually don't.
