Sunday Food

After yesterday's sunshine, today was a rainy one.  Mum had a little lie in and then whipped out between showers and went to the supermarket to get some groceries.   Avocados are cheap, finally down to $1 each.  So when she got home , this was her lunch - it was a toasted bagel with bacon, avo and tomato.

A quiet afternoon, reading and napping and now mum is up to make dinner.  A pork and vegetable stir fry with noodles,  enough to keep her fed the next two nights.

Me - a fancy feast at 3.30pm and biscuits to nibble on all day.  Perfect.

  1. That looks very tasty. I love avocados but can't have bacon.

  2. Good news about the avocados, I try to eat part of one every day. And they're never much less expensive than $1 a piece. I'm glad to see that you Poppy can Fancy Feast and not an avocado. Glad your mum is doing such yummy cooking.

  5. Your mum's lunch looks tasty to the biped, Poppy. She was just at a nearby grocery store and they had 4 avocados on for $5, so $1.25 CDN each. Derry is with you, though, he'd much prefer Fancy Feast (which he no longer gets because of its effect on his system). We both LOVE bacon, though! :-D
