Mum seldom uses a calender, as she's not allowed to put anything up on the walls. She keeps thinking though every year of getting a calender tea towel, that she can keep and use. After thinking about one for about 10 years, this year she bought this one from ETSY. It was a bit pricey, but cute and they had a cat just like me on it. Of course she'll probably actually never use it, in case it gets stained.
Very cute!
ReplyDeleteIts VERY cute - just like you are Poppy!! Maybe Mum can use blu-tack to affix it to the walls. Gosh I would be no good living in a house that I am not allowed to put things on the walls ... I would have so many things in boxes !!!
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable, worth the splurge.
ReplyDeleteAs for putting things up on the walls in a rental, if it's up to 10 pounds, you can get Command hooks and Command strips to hang things. The biped is the Queen of Command hooks, even though she's paying the mortgage on the unit; she just doesn't like to fill the holes nails and screws make. Ha. Of course there's also the leaning-against-a-wall trick, which she does and which is a nice way of displaying frames and canvases. Lots of that here too, pics on console tables and bureaus, leaning against the walls. :-)
I haven't seen those type of calendar towels for many years. I have some very old ones that have coarse now just simply get used for cleaning up cloth. I like your new one and I wouldn't want to get it dirty either.
ReplyDeleteThat is so fun! I hope she enjoys it/ Have a sweet day Poppy.
ReplyDeleteWould you allow a bird to stand on you, Poppy?
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute tea towel. We use command strips here too.
ReplyDeleteCan your mum put it on the refrigerator, using a magent?
