Mondayitis

Today would have been the perfect day for mum and I to stay in bed and snuggle up.  It was cold and boy did it rain!!  Luckily the storm died down while mum headed to work, and I headed back to bed.  There were over 100 lightening strikes on our city overnight, but the thunder wasn't too bed, so there was lots of snoozing going on at Chez Q.

You know how mum found that $30 yesterday - well she went to the supermarket after work and bought some tasty treats and some steak for dinner, and lots of can of fancy feast for me!!

Hope you have a nice Monday everybuddy.

  3. Oh! All that rain...Well, as l said before...Jump on a plane, and pop over....It's supposed to be the hottest day of the year to-day...It's just 10:20, and very...very warm...!
And, of course it's a bank holiday, so the beaches will be quite full too!

  4. Those lightning strikes sound pretty scary to us, Poppy. We hope no Being was struck!

Finding that $30 was a bonus for your mum--and we're glad she put it to good use, buying food for you too!

  6. My best find was years ago on a windy day--a $20 bill in the groundcover out front of the apartment. I almost missed it due to the coloring of the plants!

We're glad your mum bought some tasty food you with her unexpected money :)

That lightning sounds like it was terrible! We hope no one and nothing was hit.

  7. There is something so very satisfying about a well stocked cupboard, for both kitty and bean.
Our weather is pretty consistent here: very hot, dry and incessantly sunny. On the rare occasion we do get a storm, we like to join mum, with her cup of tea, at the window to watch.

  13. Yeah, they find extra money and then go and spend it. At least you got something from it.
