Outdoors More

The past two evenings, mum has opened the back door that leads out onto a little deck.  I have been exploring a little more, and am more than happy to come back inside with mum which makes her happy that I don't just run away.  We sure do miss the lovely garden at our last house, but are glad for a little outdoor space.

Once you and Mum get some plants in, a bit of colour makes all the difference!

  3. Maybe you you put out some plantings and have a new improved garden... who know, maybe even less weeding than the previous garden!

Hope your day is lovely, ladies!

  5. That's great that you get to go Outside a little bit. Do you have a tree to climb?

  6. Will the property owners let you putter in the garden and tidy things up (if you want to)?

We're glad you have some space, Poppy, though can understand how you miss the old garden. The one thing our human is very attached to at our home is our tiny garden.

  7. Maybe your mum can do something about putting in a nice garden next spring. Do you think you'll be at that place long, or is it an interim spot? I know your mum had to look quick for it.

  9. All a kitty needs is a big pot of catnip! Looks like your mommy can do some container gardening. We're glad to hear you stayed close :)

  10. It sounds like you are doing better, Poppy, and adjusting. Maybe your human can plant a few flowers that will do well when fall comes, or put out a few nice potted plants.

  14. Poppy, we are glad you and your Mum are settling in...we think (like Flynn) that potted plants and a little sprucing up will make your new garden quite nice.

  15. Glad you're not running away! We know it will take you both time to settle in because your last place was so perfect for you.
Time to put out the word that you'll
take unwanted plants. We still have
some of the foundlings Mum was
    given.
I know your mum is short on time for
    searching for and buying plants.
Maybe some of the folks at the
hospital have extra plants they'd like to rehome. Folks hate to throw away living plants even when they have
    too, too many.

  18. Yes some summer flowers. Mum buys on-sale hanging baskets with flowers in the mid- summer garden centre sales. They are cheap and cheerful. please don't run away Poppy! It would break your mum's heart. Meow, Jessica
