Poppy, dear, some birds are for watching at a safe distance only. This swan appears to be such a bird. My parents' tomcat Robert once stalked an adult pheasant and pounced upon it -- with dreadful results to his self esteem.
A beautiful black swan. Lynettea sees them on the Torrens River and in the Botanic Gardens. She even saw them at the Panda Sanctuary in Chengdu (Szechuan - China) where they were a gift from Australia.
