Kowhai



 These lovely yellow kowhai petals are out for only a few weeks in spring, and mum found some scattered over the pavement today.  Kowhai = Yellow.

    Are they forsythia blossoms? Pretty, yellow is one of the biped's favourite colours.

    Yellow always seems to be the color of some of the earliest Spring flowers.
