We watched here too - in Ohio it started at 5 am which is when our huMom usually gets up. She studied so much English Lit in college that for her it was like watching all those Shakespeare plays come to life. So much respect so well-earnedfor the Queen.
So beautiful for so sad an occasion.
ReplyDeleteI stayed up and watched too (dozed off a few times). I too liked the flowers. I will have a nana nap today no doubt.

ReplyDeleteOur Mom watched too. Her Dad is British and her Mom's Dad too so there was lots of Monarchy following. She was a grand lady! Purrs Marv
ReplyDeleteMomma saw it before she went to bed - a sad day for shure.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up, I never thought I'd see this day. The Queen seemed destined always to be here.
