Over

Nightshift is over for this week and today was a lazy day where mum drifted in and out of bed.  It didn't feel like spring, as s southerly storm arrived bringing cold and rain.  Mum was a coward and avoided an afternoon walk and stayed inside instead.

She enjoyed the new spring flowers at the supermarket entrance.  The bright pops of colour are welcome.

  1. Your mum was smart, not cowardly, to avoid walking in the cold and rain! Days in and out of bed are lovely--and sometimes very much needed.

The flowers are so pretty, Poppy. All we can say is that we here in Canada are one day closer to our spring! LOL.

  2. Not a good idea to walk in the wind and rain. we have warm storms here this weekend, but I'm going to stay inside and dry with Precious. Who is terrified of the thunder and under the bed. I always enjoy seeing lovely photos of flowers when I can not see them in person, Poppy.

  4. I would have stayed indoors, too, though our south winds bring warm weather...
