Thank you for all of your lovely purrs. Mum got to go from work and took me to the vet. It was a new doctor on duty, so we had to tell the story about what went on before. She said my eyelids looked sore and full of pus again, but my eye looked ok. When mum got home I was asleep, and my eye all closed up, but being shoved in the PTU made my eyes open wide.
So I have some liquid antibiotics that might be a bit easier than pills and we will see how it goes for the next few days. I was lucky to be able to come home with mum, have had my fancy feast and am off for a snooze.
Paws crossed the treatment works, Poppy! That would be awful if you had to go back into the sick ward.ReplyDelete
I hope they work little Poppy! XXXOOOReplyDelete
Sending you BIG purrs my dear!!ReplyDelete
Purrs more for you Miss Poppy.ReplyDelete
I hope the liquid antibiotics works well for you.
((( Hugs ))))
Hooray for your eye looking OK. Please kick that nasty infection to the curb soon, Miss Pops!ReplyDelete
Continued purrs, Poppy. Be a good ladycat and take the meds, as icky as they are. We don't want to see you have to go back to the v-e-t again!ReplyDelete
What a lot of trouble for you, Poppy Q. I'm sorry it is happening. Is the liquid easy to disguise in food? I've mixed powdered medicine with Fancy Feast, but found it works with the 'pate' versions. Good luck to you.ReplyDelete
Hope your new antibiotics work Poppy. We are glad you didn't have to stay at the vet's again.ReplyDelete
Poor Poppy Q - a change of antibiotics just might be needed to do the trick. Hope you can squirt it into Poppy ok. I wrap my cats up in a BIG towel with their paws tucked in if I have to do pills and they have argued with me. Then a little treat afterwards.ReplyDelete
We hope you and Mom get along with the meds! We do not want to see you in the hospital again!ReplyDelete
