Gorgeous Summer


Here I am - Queen of the street.

Mum doesn't mean to harp on about the weather - but she will anyway.  The past week has been gorgeous, with blue skies and warm days with a touch of breeze.  Summer perfect.  Mum is addicted to our metservice website, cos her first day off in eight days will be Monday.  Guess which day has rain forecast?

    Don't worry about going on about the weather. Enjoy it and brag about it when you can. In six months, we in the northern hemisphere will be having summer, and you winter. This is your turn.

    But I have to admit that I like a rainy day off, sitting inside with a cup of tea watching the rain come down outside. Right now, we have snow. It's not quite the same because when the rain stops falling, it's gone. The snow stays.

    N tell yur mum ta switch her day off, then it will rain that day, but her wont reeeeely take that day off her will take her regular day off inn sted !
