Relaxacation

 Our three day weekend has been pure relaxacation.  Mum and I had a couple of sleep ins, lots of reading and relaxing time, and we got to potter in the garden too,
 Today mum tackled a job in the garden that she had been avoiding  for some time.  The dreaded clean out of the drain.  The one that had leaves in it and seemed to be blocked for the past couple of weeks.
 She did not take any pictures - and you'll be glad that she did not capture the smell.  Pure stinkerooni!!!  Bluck!!!!  She did kind of laugh at herself dry retching as she was trying to shovel the rubbish into the bag.
So I'm having  a fancy feast, and mum is making a salad with a salmon fillet for her dinner.    Then we are going to chill out for a few hours.

    My mom have to do that kind of job too, Poppy
    Because my dad has a sensitive nose, He may make more mess for mom. So only mom can do it.

    Why does NZ get the Downton Abby Special 3 weeks late? Do they send it from london carrier pigeon?
    I am so happy you girls had a wonderful long weekend. Except for the dry retching of course.

    I'm gonna skip right past the stinkarooni retching part and get right to the yummy salmon part! YUM! I haven't had any salmon in a few week and that just ain't right! srsly.

    Except for the drain, it sounds like a good weekend. And even after a job like draining a drain, there's the satisfaction of knowing that it's done and won't have to be done again for a long time. And then there's the satisfaction of a shower afterward...

    sounds like everre thing wented grate for ewe N yur mum over de week oh end at chez Q poppy...but we iz wunderin....why yur mum dinna just toss de ....drain rubbish inta de naybors yard then blame sum .........dawgs ! oh..did we say that! we haz sum naybors round heere that wood knot even notiss!!!:)

    Drains of every type...ugh! Nasty all the way round.

    Ugh! Rotted leaves are very stinky! We are glad you had a nice relaxing weekend. Did you get to share any of the salmon?
