Breakfast Bar - Opens at Early O'clock

I begged my mumster to get out of her warm and cosy bed to open the breakfast bar at 5am and 6am.  Not content with a nibble, I needed my full quota.
You may laugh that it is in mums bedroom.  She had to move it, because when it was in the kitchen other kitties were coming in and feasting.  This way mum can tell if thieves have sneaked in.
It does mean a lot more use of the hoover.  Mum is hoping that the cooler weather will keep me curled up later in the mornings now - fingers crossed.

  3. I have cleaning to do after my Tungsten eats, too. But she, like you, Poppy Q, enjoys her food, so I can put up with it. I'm sure that's how your mum thinks, too.

  5. You are an early riser, Poppy! My human gets up late, and we don't get up too much before she does. But then we gang up and lie on her.

  6. Other kitties were eating your food! Your mommy should chase them with the Hoover :)

  7. Our mum has nom bowls throughout the house. Including her bedroom. That way we take a few bites and don't get too hungry rather than eating up a whole bunch of noms at one time then yakIng them up.

Isn't it amazing how a kitty always knows which houses have the best treats.

  8. My gray babies whine and cajole and holler at me... still I resist feeding them early. I'm the oldest of 8 kids. Sometimes I CAN out-stubborn a cat! bahahahaha!

Have a fab Friday, ladies. Although it's still Thursday, here! ;-)

  9. Poppy, we started to wonder how other cats were getting in, but remembered you have a cat door. We're wondering if you've ever woken up to other critters (species) in your home, not just cats! (Thinking raccoons, snakes, etc., not sure what wildlife you have.)

  11. How do you wake your Mum up early?
I like to massage a pile of newspapers. That works.

  12. Mom tried a new food yesterday. W loved it so much, we licked the bowls clean morning and evening. THen this morning, at early o'clock, we woke them up by having a cat fight between them in teh bed. All that did was get Kirby in timeout. them Angel started smacking Mom on the head and pulling her hair. THey finally got up and fed the starving kitties!
