So you know that the mumster went off to the shops on Sunday to purchase a new small heater for the cool days ahead? Well while she was there, she felt the need to stand in front of the hairdryers, and something was telling her to buy a new hair dryer, in fact she thought a gold hair dryer would be the business. Luckily they were half price too, although she did wonder as her hair dryer was ok, and had been working steadily for 8 years or so.
Until this morning that is. As she was drying her hair it made a funny noise, then smoke came out and it died. Just like that, after 8 years. Luckily mums angels had convinced her to buy her one at the weekend. Spooky!!!

oooooO! Spooky Poppy!x :).
ReplyDeleteAs l mentioned before my Ronson hair dryer is 46yrs old...So, well worth buying a good one...!
When my daughter was growing up in here teens,l used to have to buy one for her every 3~4 months...They used to catch fire to...Absolute rubbish!
So, worth putting a few extra pennies, and buy summat good, that will last...!
Trouble is..We now live in a throw away society..!
Poppy, dear, everyone knows cats have such acute senses they appear to be psychic. You probably heard the old dryer going blooey and sent mummy mental messages to replace it. Good girl!
ReplyDeleteNow that was a sheer stroke of luck. We remember your mum got a new hairdryer, but for some reason thought the old had died first -- that's usually how it goes. Our human would be in big trouble if both her hair dryer and hair straightener died at the same time. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHair dryer, schmair dryer. I pour water over my head, dry it with a towel and I'm done. The only advantage to being a bald man.
ReplyDeleteBut I like Willie's 46 year old dryer. That's a piece of work. Like my micro-wave oven: going on 35 years old and heavy enough to be used as a bomb shelter.
I don't know why my stuff doesn't give me vibes before it quits working...
ReplyDeletepoppy q...ask mums angles if they can tell her de lottree numbers... N her haz it made !!! ♥
ReplyDeleteSpooky but good!
ReplyDeleteDat are good luck!
ReplyDeleteA stroke of good luck having that new dryer on hand! Our mum would see the whole scenario as a sign of better times comming your way.
ReplyDeleteThat was spooky Poppy, but very lucky too.
