Mums run of late shifts is just about over. I will be super glad when dinner time resumes as over. It is getting chilly here. Last night mum caught me rummaging in her wardrobe, she pulled me out and I scratched her for good measure. Ten minutes later I was back in there, so she put me in her bed. I clung next to her for half an hour and then spent the rest of the night snuggled in between the quilts. A sure sign that winter weather has arrived for certain.
Keep warm and toasty my friends.

Poppy, dear, my Simon McBogle agrees with Willie but also suggests you explore the option of opening the topmost bureau drawer (where the nicest sweaters live) or the linen closet (where the clean fluffy towels reside).
ReplyDeleteLike you, he is a very large, gray fur-person and has strong paws.
Laura is under the covers each night too - but she likes to have her head on the pillow.

ReplyDeleteYou're right Poppy. When the colder weather comes, we all have to find our nice warm and snuggly places.
ReplyDeleteWe keep forgetting your weather is the opposite of ours. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteIt is warm here so I prefer lying on the tile floor in the bathroom to keep cool. But a good snuggle in the blankets is a winter treat. Meow, Jessica
ReplyDeletePoor Poppy, we thinks mum should make you a bed in the wardrobe. How does she think you is going to get the clothes furred up for her?
ReplyDeleteStay warm!

Looking for a warm place to nap!
ReplyDeleteWhen the weather gets cold we kitties need to be in a warm cozy spot. We think Willie has the perfect solution.
ReplyDeleteGlad your dinner time will be back to normal!
