Nurse Poppy


Today I did my nursing duty and scrunched up on the sofa arm on my Gizzy quilt next to the mumster and told her to rest and take it easy like you all recommended.  She kept up her fluids and vitamin C.  I did that for a couple of hours, but even a nurse like myself needs her time off.  So - I have had my feast for dinner and am back curled up on the bed catching up on my zzzzs.

    Poppy, dear, you do look exhausted. Best get some rest before you fall off the sofa (and make your mum hurt herself coughing while laughing).

    Your mum is still fighting the illness, is she? Have her take the day off. There's no sense in infecting others while making yourself worse.
