Wow - we have been wishing for sunbeams these past two days. It has been blustery and a southerly wind has blown some frozen air up our way. Worst of all, as mum went to the airport to pick up her niece and friend mum knew she was getting sick. So yesterday she was wiped out and spent the day in bed, unable to take the kids out and about.
She is feeling a bit better, so today took them out for lunch, some shopping and to sushi train for dinner, which was tasty. So off to bed with some tissues soon for her, and hopefully I can sneak in and sleep at her feet.

ReplyDeleteI hope your mum feels better today, Poppy, and that some sun shines to brighten her day. It's funny, but here above the Equator, we're accustomed to north winds being cold and southerly being warm. It must be the opposite there.
