We did get up early so mum could watch the football final - which was a bit underwhelming but well done to Germany. Other than that we just cruised. A bit of feast for dinner for me, and potato and leek soup for her.

I wanted Argentina to win, as Italy were knocked out earlier on! Oh! well never mind..As they say..It's only a game! Boo~Hoo!x

Poppy, dear, I'm sure your mum enjoyed her slippers and soup day even more because you were there to help her watch the telly and the rain.
ReplyDeleteI like those days that are cold and/or wet outside but you can stay indoors all day. And soup is perfect for such days, isn't it?
