Mural

Back at the old house we lived in, the owners have made big changes in the backyard, taking up the grass and pulling down trees.  They also got this mural done on the back retaining wall.  I think that is meant to be me!!!  What do you think?  We know that they don't have a grey pussy cat.  Anyway the house is for sale, but it is lots of dollars.  Unfortunately mum didn't win the Lotto last weekend, so we don't think we could buy it.

  2. Poppy, dear, that kitty's big beautiful eyes and pretty coat do remind me of you! If I were to win a lottery, I, too, would enjoy spending a gazillion dollars on a place with space for many cats. One of my favorite dream home shows visited a young couple who had spent the gazillions. They delighted in showing off an especially designed kitty loo with room for 8 boxes and a ventilation system. They had a gorgeous ancient refectory table in their dining room, topped with splendid objets d'art -- and two cats conducting personal cleaning operations, toes in the air.

  3. Very cute! It does look like you Poppy.
Don't rule out buying the old house until your mommy talks to a banker. 11 years ago we didn't think we could buy a house either... but it worked out.

  4. I love the mural, it's terrific! I don't know how the Universe picks the lottery winners, but it sure doesn't choose them by who is the most deserving. :-/

  7. OMC, that is TOTALLY you, Poppy! I think it is sad that house prices are so high everywhere. My human bought her first little house in the mid-1990s, and that is the only way she was able to afford the house we live in now - she kept buying up as prices rose until we wound up here. And unless SHE hits the lottery (in her business - she doesn't really play the actual lottery), we're probably here for the duration!

  9. Oh yes, I am sure that is you Poppy! It is a lovely mural. Maybe they would rent again rather than sell?

  10. It sure looks like you Poppy! We don't understand why they would tear up grass, but we sure hopes mum wins the Lotto this weekend. :)

  14. It's you, Poppy. It must be you. We love it! But what happens if the people viewing the house don't like cats?
Your mum might benefit from speaking with a banker. Perhaps there could be a new home in your future.
Banks love to lend to medical people as they have good job security. A mortgage could end up being less than your rent.
