Today we were blessed with lots of lovely sunshine. Mum had the windows and doors open, so I zoomed in and out imbetween my sleeps at 9am, 9.20am, 10am, 11am and 1 pm. I like to sit in the sun in the morning, to warm my furs. Then get some fresh air, and do my outside bathrooming. I also love to eat grass.
I am lucky that I get to be an indoor/outdoor cat and get to have my own cat door and dictate when I go outside. We have no cars outside this house, as it is up a set of stairs connecting two streets. There are lots of people going up and down the stairs, and as I am a fraidy cat I stay pretty close to home.
Mum went to work in the afternoon, and I took myself off to bed to snooze till she got home.

Sounds very much like heaven Poppy!x
ReplyDeleteAt least you can do the things you love
to do, and have your sleeps in between!
Sounds good to me!x
You have the best of both worlds, Poppy. And doesn't that grass look tasty! We have a long wait here for fresh garden grass!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy !!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you live in an ideal neighborhood, Poppy! I wish I could come and go as I please, but it's too dangerous here, with predators like coyotes, and with raccoons who can sometimes be nasty.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have a safe place to be outdoors! You sure are cute in the grass and sunshine!

ReplyDeleteI don't think you a fraidy cat. I think you are a very brave girl. We hope you plenty more sunny days to enjoy your garden. From Jessica
ReplyDeleteEnough room to roam, but just not too far.
ReplyDeleteYou have your own little paradise Poppy. Not roaming too far from home is a smart thing to do. We used to be able to go outside and nom the grass, but a very mean bully cat kept wanting too beat us up so mom moved us to a condo on the 4th floor where we would be safe. It has a very large deck we can go out & lounge on while we watch bird TV safely & we have pots filled with nip & fresh grass to snack on, but there have been no more trips to the vet for cat fight injuries. It must be lovely to have your own cat door so you can come & go as you please. Warm furs are the best, especially when it comes from the springtime sunshine.
