Work was ok, and she was able to pop into the supermarket after work. Amazing how busy it still is, but shopping at 11pm means most of the crowds are still at home. No strawberries left, so mum will try and pop out tomorrow to get some early.
Me - I got my feast and went for a little walk outside while mum popped the rubbish out. Now is time for mum to have a little nibble on some treats and then time for bed. Tomorrow will be a long long day.

the sky...Though yesterday was very bad up
the north..up in Cumbria, third lot of floods
in the month of December. Terrible thing to
happen, especially this time of the year.

Poppy, dear, it's so warm here I've turned off the heat and changed my menu for the Christmas Eve gathering. More cold fruit salad, fewer hot Scandinavian veg! Can't find the recipe for klog (mit an umlaut over the 'o'), so perhaps it's just as well the need for anti-freeze has diminished.

ReplyDeleteThat is a cute little reindeer. My mum went shopping at 9.30 last night. She said she couldn't face all the pushing and shoving crowds earlier in the day. It wasn't too bad at all going later.
