Chasing Butterflies

It's New Years Eve here in the big city.  Mum and I slept in.  She took herself outside with me for a little while.   A little butterfly kept coming to sit next to us, but I kept chasing it away.  It has been cloudy and windy today as we are due for some more rain.

So mum walked herself to the supermarket which wasn't as busy as she expected.  She got herself some treats.  So dinner tonight was handmade Thai pork meatballs and a couscous salad.  Best if all for mum - her favorite fresh raspberries - a pricey $10 for a small punnet.

So happy New Year's to my friends.  Thanks for sharing 2017 with us.

Hope your mum has a bouquet of simple white flowers too to symbolize a fresh beginning in the new year. P.S. Our mum is drooling over the thought of fresh raspberries.)

  9. Nice to have a butterfly visit. Mum let out a squeek when you mentioned how much your razzberries are! Mum says she usually pays $3 USD for 6 ounces.
