Tui




Mum was watching this tui bird enjoy his afternoon tea while mum was waiting for her bus.

    Fantastic photos. The one with the colourful spread wings woul look beautiful framed. I have only seen Tuis once. I think it was from a board walk over a canopy of tree tops in Wellington. Didn’t know they visited the suburbs. Lucky Poppy wasn’t watching.

    And..l'c never hear of it before..
    So l Googled it..I found this bit very
    interesting...
    Tui spiritual meaning: Because of their personality, the Tui
    are associated with life fulfilment, confidence and spiritual
    harmony. In Māori culture the Tui has powerful significance.
    They act as messengers to the gods in the heavens...!
