The family have arrived for a visit, and even though I popped in and said hello last visit, I am being a shy girl and hiding from them tonight. Luckily there is a big pile of biscuits and water out for me, but mum wishes I was tucked up and snoozing where she knew I was safe.
Poppy, dear, please give yourself a nice lick and polish and then parade into the lounge to be petted...you know your mum is showing the family pictures of you and they would love to get to know you better!
ReplyDeleteOh! Poppy!x You know it's nice and warm indoors...
ReplyDeleteAnd, as Mum thinks, you'll be safer. Once you've
said hello...You can go find a nice hidey place for
a zzzzzzzzZ!
Sometimes we kitties just aren't in the mood for company - too bad we are not consulted on visitors!
ReplyDeletepoppy Q....my stars... I so know what you mean, company arrives here in MY house and I hide until they have gone and their smell was taken with them... and sometimes just for good measure, I'll hide 24 hours after they've left.....just in case...a girl cant be too cautious....hugs from dai$y... { you can come to my house and hide if you want } =^..*= ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteheerz two a zingel…zander…ziege…kinda week oh end ♥♥♥
Poppy, we thinks it would be safer to hide indoors, but we hopes you stay safe no matter where you hide. Purrs!
ReplyDeleteSasha, Sami, & Saku
I keep out of the way too if we have visitors.
ReplyDeletePoppy the visitors will feel sad if you don't stay socialize with them. Please go inside. A big storm is coming your way soon. Meow from Jessica
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a visitor with company either. I have a tendency to wander off some place safe.
ReplyDeletePoor Poppy, you look like such a grumpy girl today. Between a summer of noisy painters & frequent company visiting we can see why you are unhappy. Maybe it would be best to make a brief appearance just so mom knows you are OK & then slither UTB for a long sleep. By the time you wake up for dinner, the company may be gone. Most of us kitties are wary of humans we don't know & it's best to err on the side of caution & hide out until it's just you & mom again. Don't stay in the garden too long or you may miss out on Feast time. Maybe you could use you time outside to practice smiling.
ReplyDeleteYou do look a little ear-a-tated there Poppy! Stay safe pretty one.
ReplyDeleteInside is safer,Poppy. And your mum could offer you even more treats!
ReplyDeletePoppy,
ReplyDeleteour Mom is twiterpated with you...she thinks you are super cute.
We understand your concerns with the company. If we don't like
them we are not afraid to take our presence elsewhere.
Purrs to you,
the kitty brats
