Market

Mum and her besties meet up every year for a local craft market.   This was the first time in 10 years that mum hasn't had to wear a jacket or bring an umbrella.   In fact it was hot, and super busy.  Mum got herself a couple  of little treats to put in her Christmas sticking, and went for a bit of a wander for the afternoon.  The clouds have gathered back over the city now for a couple of days of rain again.

though the sun is peeping through
this morning, off up the supermarket

    Then a quiet day..hopefully! :o).

  2. We usually have a Christmas Market in Plymouth, but like most it has been cancelled because of Covid.
The sun is shining and the sky is blue, but it was -3C this morning and has gone up to 0C now. I am glad I put my Jasmine in the greenhouse 2 weeks ago.

  3. That looks like a ‘good Wellington day’. How lucky NZ is. I now have an electric wheelchair. Bit tricky, need my home help to get me used to it but my garden in NZ, is looking fab. Keep buying online then my poor gardener has to find where to put them. After Poppy my garden is my passion.

  4. Wonderful Poppy, that your mom at a craft show to go to and find a few things to bring home. I hope this time next year we have ours back because they're fun and I miss them. Sure look like lovely weather over there.

  7. There are no masks to be seen, or physical distancing. Considering New Zealand's precautions, it must be due to covid being largely beaten. That's good to see.

  8. Ahhh, mum says the good old days when you could wander in a crowd of people. No craft fairs for her these days.

  9. We're glad your mum had a great time! It's really weird to see such a large number of people all together, no social distancing and no masks. Well done to your entire country!
