Mum got herself a day of work today and she enjoyed it a lot. Housework to begin the day was satisfying, dushes and washing all done before she headed off to lunch with a bestie. Lunch was simple but tasty, a fresh pineapple/apple/spinach juice and a ham and cheese toasting with gerkins and always made more enjoyable when it was followed by some shopping, although mum didn't buy anything.
By the time mum got home she was glad to put her feet up and read her book for a while with me. If course I was asking for my dinner by 2. 45pm - a bit early mum said. She gave in though and let me have my feast at 3pm so she got some quiet time (she means nap time really).
Ah! Bless! I've just got back from a quick

Sounds like your mom had a really busy day. But with you to spend the evening with in the good book that's a good way to unwind. I got my first dose covid vaccine yesterday. I'm in the 65 to 70 age bracket in it took them more than one month to come up with enough vaccine for our area.
ReplyDeleteShe had a busy day and it was nice of you to let her nap...I enjoyed your Wordless Wednesday with the moth, too.
ReplyDeleteYou are a funny wee thing with such a sweet face little Pops. I think dinner time at 2.45 is just a tad early too!!!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom would feed you supper! She says who could resist that face! And we hope you guys were not affected by the Earth Quakes! Have a marvellously happy day!
ReplyDeleteA day off of work in the middle of the week is nice. There's something enjoyable about having time off when everyone else doesn't...
