Today is another same same day. Sleep, wake, shower, work, home, dinner, chores, relaxing, on-call then sleep (for the mumster).
For me - sleep, sleep, wake up, breakfast, walk the perimeter, do my business, sleep, sleep, sleep, get a snack, sleep, sleep, sleep, more business, dinner, walk the perimeter, sleep, sleep, sleep.
Our days end up much the same at the moment.
HaHa! When does Mum do her business then Poppy!x :0).ReplyDelete
I think l prefer your day, lots of sleep, with very
few interruptions. Bless!x
Go for it Poppy!x zzzzzzzzzZ! :).
Poppy, dear, our homely routines can be viewed as cages or blessed forts of security: same view, different vision. Cats have excellent eyesight!ReplyDelete
While our biped has not read Annie Dillard, a quote she saw years ago from her sticks in her mind: "How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives." Either that bears deep thought...or perhaps better, no thought if our days are spent either living in the past or future rather than in the present moment. So Poppy, sweetie, you have the right of it, to be in the moment, enjoying yourself no matter whether that's sleeping, patrolling your territory, eating, etc.ReplyDelete
Yes, sometimes our days are all pretty much the same. That's especially the case with work-days, when we have no choice in how we spend them. But, as Fuzzy Tales has done, I try to enjoy the small pleasures that life does afford. They can be comforting.ReplyDelete
