Last night mum got home at late oclock, so she gave me a half tin of the feast which I ate. She only let me have a couple of biscuits and did not want to leave any out overnight. So, I woke her up at 2am and 4am for snacks, then 8am for breakfast. So now I am back napping on the bed. I am tired - yawn!!!
Oh well - mum is going to persevere and see how it goes.

Good training, Poppy.
ReplyDeletePretty soon mum will be so tired she'll forget you're on a diet, Poppy. The first few days are always the hardest. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteOh that is a lot of work having to wake your mum up in the night for biscuits. Poor tummy. I don't like diets either. I think you are a lovely "chubster." I am pleased that your eyes are well.
ReplyDeletemeow, Jessica the cat
At least you are not like Binga, who would be trying to open up every cabinet in order to help herself!
ReplyDeleteMiss Poppy, You has been spoiled : )
ReplyDeleteI hope your mom doesn't get so tired.I guess she will need more coffee today !
Sounds like you have your mom trained quite well.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get there Poppy, or Mom will get very tired, MOL

I hope the diet works!
ReplyDeleteLaughing.
ReplyDeleteI suspect the mama will get very tired. :-)
I thought biscuits were like cookies? Are your biscuits what we American cats call treats? If biscuits & treats are the same thing here is a diet idea for Mum. When the vet put us on the dreaded diet she did a sneaky thing. She took an empty treat bag and filled it with regular dry cat food. We still thought it was special beause we never had eaten it before and we didn't think anything was up because the treat bag appearred on time as usual. The fake treats had tiny amount of calories and the real treats ar very fattening. It helped us loss weight slowly over time just like vet wanted.
ReplyDeleteMum it looks like you may need some Red Bull this week.
I don't think you look chubby, Poppy, you look very FURRY! Silly fur doctor!
ReplyDeleteMaybe your mum could get you some diet cat food so you could have the same volume without the calories.
ReplyDeleteWe kitties aren't happy unless our tummies are full.
Good luck with getting some snacks left out overnight.

Oh, Gandalf is still a Chubster Failologist of the highest degree. I give them less, as Dr. Tad suggested... but when Grayson and Gracie walk away from their bowls, Gandalf swoops in for the cleanup!
ReplyDeleteYou kitties sure are tough on a Momma. srsly.
