Chill Out Day

So mum had a big list of things that she wanted to do today.  Did she do them - no she did not!!!  Well she did parts of them, she did some gardening, she pottered around inside and threw out some rubbish, did some washing and finished reading her book.

She did however cook a tasty Thai Chicken curry for dinner tonight for her, and a fancy feast for me.  Mum is watching a tv programme, then she is looking forward to heading to bed, as she has a new book to start reading which is always nice.  In fact mum is pleased, she has a pile of six books on her bedside table, that should keep her going for a couple of weeks.

Hope you are all having a chill out Sunday too!!

  1. We're chilling in a different way...the windchill is -12C, again. LOL.

Our human wants to know if your mum has any leftovers from dinner. If so, send a "doggie" bag. :-)

  2. Good for Mom !!
I just had to break down and order some books from Amazon earlier this evening. Not having a stash of books to read would be...
...like having no Fancy Feasts to eat--- Awful !!

  9. Your mum is always making meals that our no-talent-in-the-kitchen mum finds so delicious sounding.
She thinks a "bean" bag of your mum's leftovers would be heavenly.
Do you have a favourite Fancy Feast flavor, Poppy?

  13. Sundays are for being lazy! And enjoying the company of kitties. My mum cooked a Burmese fish dish but I turned my nose up at my "good for me" senior kitty food. Maybe mum will pick up some Fancy Feast when she goes to return a DVD tonight.
