Surprise!!

Surprise - it's Monday!!!  Mum laughed when she saw this photo with the surprised expression on my face.   Just another day at work for mum, and a day of relaxing for me.  We are getting a taste of autumn, with cloudy skies and chills.  Mum is thinking that she will have to drag out her winter woollies soon, and  sort out the wardrobe.  Time to pack the shorts and tshirts away soon.

Mum made a Nasi Goreng, which is an Indonesian spiced fried rice tonight for dinner and has lots for work lunches all week.  She is determined to not go to the supermarket til the end of the week, after payday.  She has a lot of food in the pantry and fridge, and can make do.

    and guess what ? Here is supposed to be autumn too, but our autumn come so late, it's sooooo HOT here ! or may be suitable for HOT guy like me...tee..heh

    Mom said did your mom has ever try a Nasi Goreng Noodle ? It's YUM too ! Mom and dad always have with fried chicken : )

    Nasi Goreng? How yummy. Our mom has them sometimes as she is Malay. She was so excited to read that your mom also eats nasi Goreng!

    That is quite an expression, Miss Pops!

    I do not think my mother knows how to make do. She must go to the store for something almost daily! Me? I try to go once every 2 weeks... which is sort of easy because if I need something, MotherDear is going! haha!

    Poppy Q looks very surprised. It was way hot up north yesterday 31deg on levin clock at 4.30ish? But really windy when we got home with quite a cool wind. We do need some rain. The morning dew helps but not like rain.

    Mum only shops one day a week. Lots of stuff in the freezer and cupboard to fix to eat. Sometimes all she gets when she does shop is fresh stuff like fruit and veggies.
