Camping


Mum made me a little inside camping spot.  This is my bed that I used to sleep out on the deck at our old place.  Piled high with warm blankie and topped with a towel it sits nearby our heater.  Mum says not to worry it is nice and safe and I love it.

Our nights have now dropped down below 10 degrees and mum is super happy that I am cozy and warm and not climbing all over her.

    Oh Poopy you are so lucky to have such a caring mum. You look so cosy. Me and her dad are looking to go into a retirement home. We are both frail and we don't have anyone to cosy us up. My biggest worrie is darling Millie who has taken 2 years to let us stroke without biting she had such a traumatic life. Now she sees how sick I am she is a changed kittie. She comes running and gives such a sad cry when she sees me in pain and spends all her time lying beside me and then will go on her dads knee to comfort him. What can I do when we sell and go. Any ideas poppy dear?

    That looks like such a cosy spot, Poppy! You'll be snug there through your winter. We had to laugh about the temps, though...we're unseasonably cold (and wet) this spring, and our overnight temps are around 1 to 3C right now. We had ONE day of summer-like weather last week, with a humidex of 27C, and that was it!

    I still love my old blankie. It's felt. Mom didn't expect I still use it because Thailand has hot humid weather.I love it !

    Poppy, great bed! Your mum comes up with the best ideas. Our nights are awfully chilly to but Holly insists on using my bed. But she keeps me warm.
