Cultured Caturday
Mum was up early as her friends invited her to go to Te Papa, our national museum as there was a display of the Terracotta Warriors. They were pretty amazing and it was one if those exhibits that made mum feel emotional as she turned into the main exhibition room where the warriors and two of their horses were standing.
Larger than life each warrior was so regal and strong looking - ready to protect their Emperor in the afterlife.
Mum and her friends then went out for bundles of fresh sushi and mum went for a walk as the sun came out and it turned into a glorious summer's day.
Me - well I had to keep the quilt on the bed.
We hope you had a lovely Caturday and did something fun.
