Mum can't think of the last time she went out on a Friday night. It must have been months ago. Instead she is glad to spend the sunny evening with me. She enjoyed getting washing on the line, doing the dishes and getting some jobs done so she can enjoy the rest if the weekend ahead. I supervised from bed number 1 and bed number 2. Well done mum.
I put a bit of washing out yesterday,
ReplyDeletelots of wind, with no rain, bit different
to~day, wind and rain..! :(.
At least you sat up for a quick photo Poppy!x
HeHe! Bless! :).
I think it's nice that mom spent her Friday evening with you Poppy. You look lovely in the sunshine and I asked you to send a little bit our way. Have a good weekend and don't let your mom do too much work. More snuggles are better.
ReplyDeleteGreat supervision, Poppy!
ReplyDeleteThe biped can't remember when she was last anywhere other than to a pharmacy or for groceries. LOL. It's the COVID (roller) coaster here!
Take care and we hope you both have a great weekend! 💖
hope ewe N mum N joy de rest oh de weekend poppy Q !! :) ♥♥
ReplyDeleteLook at your sweet face Poppy Q. I actually hate it when people ask me to go out at nights now - I have become a real stay at home. Must be getting old! I thought of you yesterday when Miss Pip climbed onto a supermarket bag that was tossed on the bed - I thought she just reminds me of a certain little Pops. xx
ReplyDeleteMy human remembers the last time she went out on a Friday night - it was over a year ago, before Covid! She misses it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gone out with friends on a Friday since college days. I'd rather stay home with the cats, anyway.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Poppy and Julie, for your kind words about my Josie's passing. No more pain now; you're right. And she will be missed.
