Caturday

What a sleep in.  Mum refused to have an alarm go on this morning and slept in until 9.45am.  Then it was shower time, dishes, washing, lunchtime and then it was 3pm and dinner time for me.  Lights on, candles lit and making chicken Alfredo for her, Call the Midwife and time for bedtime again.

  3. What a fast day for Mum! And Poppy, early dinner for you and I bet
there were some snuggles in there too. We are having harsh cold
wind from the North today after an inch of rain yesterday.

  6. I bet your mum was happy for a sleep in and sort of lazy day at home just doing chores.

  7. Good for mum. Hope she’s not got the rain we’re having. Would like to think of he going to work in this. It’s Sunday here and 24 hours solid and same today. Looks like all week. Glad I don’t live by a river! Keep dry Poppy. This will hopefully drowning all the mice in the field next to us. Otherwise they will come inside and ear all the lovely bait in my many bait boxes, go back out for water and DIE πŸπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸ’€ I’m not a cruel person but this is beyond a joke. Potatoes nibbled in the pantry. , all benches have to be sprayed before cooking and dishes rewarded before using. Glad I’m not in NSW

  9. Wow. Good for your mum; she deserves a good, long sleep. I'd love to sleep in to that hour. I can't recall the last time I did. My diabetic cats need their insulin at the same time every morning, so they get it at six o'clock even when I don't have to go to work.
