What We Ate Wednesday

Miss Barb - this photo is for you!!  Mum  cooked some salmon for dinner tonight, with fresh sweetcorn and salad.  She is pleased as she has more salmon and salad for her lunch tomorrow, and it was a quick and easy dinner.  Ten minutes and done.
Mum is glad that she worked during the day today and gets to spend the evening with me.  She only got woken once last night by me, begging for biscuit (cat biscuits or crunchies).  Instead of giving me a whole can of fancy feast every night, I am now getting only half a can.  The good thing is that I used to only eat 2/3 of my can and a third was wasted, but now I eat all I am given.  So no wastage and hopefully we will save some money too.

  1. Yum, salmon! Poppy, some days you are really missing out by not having a taste of human food! Although the Fancy Feast works too - and I think it is wise of your human to give you half a can, and much more economical!

  2. YAY! And Yum! Salmon is my fave fish! More food photos! More food photos!

I grabbed a bowl of chili out of the freezer when I got home from Saint Augustine to let it defrost. Later I just zapped it in the microwave for a quick and sensible supper. It was yummy, too!

But now I want salmon for supper!

The Gs share one can of Fancy Feast between all 3 of them and I add an equal amount of water and stir it up good. They all polish their bowls!

    Have a lovely day, ladies!

  6. Poppy Q - you are good to save half a tin. Our cats here seem to turn their noses up if they eat left overs the next day from a tin.
    Keep up the diet girls.

Mom says your mum's supper looks very yummy! We don't get to eat people food so we'll take her word for it.

  11. We love our Fancy Feast! Mum puts out a can fir each of us some eat more some eat more but all gets eaten.
Mum always thinks of Robert Burns Selkirk Grace when we eat.

Why does food always look so much more appetizing when served on Emma Bridgewater?
