Happy Mothers day to the lovely cat and people mothers out there. I let my mum have a little sleep in til 06am this morning, but she had to be up for work already, so she didn't mind. As soon as she popped out to the bedroom I rushed and climbed into her spot, and curled up and snored so she knew I was asleep.
Work was busy busy so mum was glad to get home and park herself on the couch where she snoozed like a good middle aged lady, falling asleep after her dinner. There were a couple of phone calls, to a bestie and a sister in law, and then a bit of tv shows before parking herself back in bed with a book.
Dinner was a feast for me, and mum reheated some cooked chicken and mashed potato with some broccoli, cooked with a squeeze of lemon over it and a sprinkle of salt, which mum is loving at the moment. She is trying to eat a few more veg and lots of fruit and feeling better for it. That and the maltesers she had as well made for a tasty meal.
By the way the answer to yesterdays quiz was D - thanks to all who guessed correctly.

Happy Mother's Day to your mum, Poppy. We thought that this particular date to celebrate was a North American thing, with Mother's Day being celebrated at other times of the year for other countries. It's cool we share it!
