Mums 24 Hours Away

Mums 24 hours away went well.  It was for her lovely niece Miss Belles 21st.  It did rain on the day and turned real cold.  On the Sunday it was a clear blue winters day so mum was up early and went for a little walk through town.

When she got home she had to go straight to work, and finally got home at midnight and I was pleased to see her. I followed her round and bugged her to come to bed do I could sit on her leg and look at her.

Things are back to normal today as mum has got the washing machine working and I am back to being tuckered out on the bed.

Life is good.

  3. Lovely photos Julie. Congrats. to Miss Belle. How pleased she would have been to see you. What a lot of flying you do. Must say I have had a lot myself but ohhhh I really don't like it.
Work is busy. Poppy will love to have a couple of days off with you. Loved the photos of Napier last time I was there I was only 7 and it was a tiring hot bus trip. I do remember that lovely girl and being up in the sound she'll so really appreciated your photos. Thanks heaps. Xxx

  4. Poppy, dear, what a lovely place on this planet is NZ! But "there's no place like home, there's no place like home...", and home is where it's good to be in one's own bed with a friendly feline face glowing alongside.

  5. Happy belated birthday to Belle! What a beautiful area your mum was visiting. We're glad she's home now, though, and that things are getting back to normal. :-)

  6. I'm pleased that you didn't have to go to the cat-hotel, Poppy. As nice as it may be, I can understand that you prefer your own home while your mum was away. It must have been tough for her to go straight back to work; you think you are tuckered out - think of your poor mum! Travelling isn't all fun, you know, even if the occasion is. Now, things are back to normal. Life is indeed good.

  7. A special 21 birthday party is a very good reason for your human to travel. Your mum's niece must be very happy to have her lovely auntie celebrate this special day with her. Now she is back home with you and all is well.
