Present





Mum got me a present to say sorry for going away.  It is a feather from a big bird, an ostrich.  She made the lady in the shop laugh when she told her she was buying it for me, as usually the posh ladies buy them as decorations in their homes. 

I had fun chasing it for 5 minutes then I needed a sleep.

    That's a cool present! I've never seen an ostrich feather, just peacock ones.

    So glad I popped in just in case you were home. How was the hotel Poppy? Did mum have trouble getting you into your carrier ? I thought about you and hoped you were ok. Stil it was a quick trip and with the feather and mum you will have forgotten all about it now. Sweet dreams dear popsicle. Xxx

    An ostrich feather sounds very exotic to us! We're impressed you managed 5 minutes of playing; we don't think Derry would have lasted that long. (Nicki yes!). :-)

    I think the feather was put to better use by you than in decorating a home, Poppy. And five minutes is pretty good play for a cat.

    How wonderful your mommy brought home a toy! I once purchased a peacock feather for my cats. They weren't impressed.

    Hurrah that you’re home! How was life at the cat hotel? The feather is lovely but, if you are anything like us, some extra food or treats would make our day.
