Oh mum is getting too used to sleeping in until 08.30am and reading for another hour. She did take herself out for a walk to get some fresh air. Her usual spot go stop at is the library. She had to return some overdue books and pick up some new ones to read. Our weather forecast is for lots of rain, so best to be stocked up for the week ahead.
Meghan and Prince Harry arrive in our city on Sunday - we hope they have brought their rainjackets. Mum was thinking of going down to see them but she will see how much it is raining on Sunday. I think I will stay home - I need my beauty sleeps.

Yes! Just on the news..Megan and Harry have been delayed, for the
ReplyDeleteflight home, for some reason or other...Though, l'm not a big
fan of Harry..! You can keep him if you like..! :).
Another bright sunny day over hear, l'm off to a funeral in
an hour or so..One of my neighbours died, couple weeks ago,
so, it's off to the crematorium, l place l hate going to..
it's always like a supermarket checkout, queues of them...
one after the other..still, must pay my respects, l've
known him for some 50+ years..! :(.
Sleeping in till 8:30...! What a treat! Even when our human is off we make sure she's up between 4:00 and 4:30 AM every morning to feed us, no slacking off and staying in bed. (Though sometimes she'll go back to bed after Nicki's meds at 6 AM.)
ReplyDeleteOur forecast is for nothing but chilly rain and possible snow flurries this weekend. Ugh. A good time to curl up with a book and a cup of tea.
