Spring Like

Mum left to go to work this morning at 6.20am and it was dark and cool.  Our city stayed covered in for until the clouds burned off.  Mum went to the library, the post office and the supermarket after work and was still home by 4.30pm.  It was sunny and even a bit hot on her walk home from the bus.  She opened all the windows for a bit of fresh air - until it cooled down.

I got feast for dinner and mum made chicken tacos for dinner.  She had a new guacamole recipe from the internet that she thinks is her favourite yet.  It's only taken a few decades to find but good while the avocados are cheap.

But a month ago a new fruit and veg market trader
started on Thursday market in town..and he does
    baskets of avocados..6~8..for £1.50 = 2.76 NZD..
So l buy a basket every week..last Thurs he had
grapes, for the same amount..so bought a punnet
of each..red and white..! In fact he only charged
    me for one punnet..£1:50...! :).

Oh! I see..yesterday, that New Zealand beat Australia
in the final of the World Netball Championship...! :).

  2. Oooh, tell your mum to post the recipe, please!

As for your Monday, it seems you both had a pretty decent day. Ours is just starting, really, but at least we have a break from the brutal heat and humidity.

Take care, we hope the rest of your week goes well!

  7. How cool that you get good avocados in New Zealand! Sometimes I'm not sure what's easy and not easy for you guys to have where you live.
