So mum stayed up to watch the fireworks celebrating New Years eve on the tele and took these shots for you. It's 2021 already here and we want to wish you all a happy and healthy new year, and look forward to another year of sharing our adventures with our friends.

Thanks Poppy and your mum! I have 15 hours to go and will not see any fireworks over here.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing yours, as I always just see them on TV anyway and yours are beautiful
We look forward to 2021 with better conditions for everyone and will look for you and mum
every day. Stop by for a visit any time.
Poppy, dear, thanks for sharing your mum's gorgeous photos with us. My feline housemates and I plan a festive feast (of scrambled eggs and bacon) and an early bedtime. May this New Year bring us all health and happier times, especially for front-line workers like your mum.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your Mum!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are lovely! Once again, happy New Year and a much better 2021, although I do think it will take a long time for much improvement.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Poppy and Mum Julie!
ReplyDeleteWell I hope you all brought the best of the year in with you! We still have about 9 1/2 hours left of the horrible year of 2020. Thanks for sharing your photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you & Mum dear little Poppy!! I spent it simply ... glass of bubbly, early to bed with my new book & at least one cat tucked up!! xx
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI know your 2021 is getting off to a better start than it will in the States, but I'm hoping we will catch up with you!
ReplyDeleteA happy new year to the both of you. What tower is that? Last year was a rather better one for New Zealand than for many other countries around the world, due to smart leadership and being an island nation. But I think 2021 will be good for all of us. (I am much more optimistic now than when I was young...)
ReplyDeleteIts the sky tower in Auckland. There were fireworks in our city but mum is too lazy to wander down for just a 5 minute show.
DeleteThanks, Poppy. It looks impressive, but yes, fireworks can be over quickly.
