Back On The Bed

Mum was wondering a week or so ago how close I was to jumping back on her bed.  You see I haven't been in bedroom to sleep or even visit for close to 5 months, as in the warmer weather I gravitate to the living room and out on the deck. Last night when mum went to bed, I chased her into the bedroom and jumped onto her bed.  I spent all night pinning her to one place on the bed.  Mum better get used to not being able to roll over for the next four months at all.  Winter must be coming.

Mum went to the hairdresser tonight - three hours of fun and reading/skimming through about 5 magazines before settling on her book.  Luckily she had time to pop in home on the way and feed me my feast before she went.  So I was happy - and went back to my position on the bed.

  1. HeHe! You look great Poppy!x
While you've taken over the bed, perhaps
Mum could sleep in your box!!! Only fair,
to swap around a bit...! :).

Three hours...goodness! It's amazing how long
ladies spend in the hairdressers...Me! My friend
Karen, who l went to school wth comes up home
every 6~8 weeks to trim mine. I sit down, she goes
round it, oh! and we have a 'good' gossip..half hour
later it's done. She's great, as she's the only person,
l've ever know who cuts it 'dry'. All the others want
to wet it or wash it...Before cutting it..No! No! No! :).
I'm due for a trim next Thursday..!

  2. Willie's idea of where your mum can sleep is a good one. Ha!

Our biped doesn't think she'd have the patience to sit for three hours at the hair stylist's. When she still was getting highlights it took about 2 hours all told, with her short hair. Now her hair is "highlighted" with white. LOL.

  3. Using a cat to determine the coming weather is a pretty accurate system, I'd say. And I am familiar with having very little room in the bed; I have three who like to keep me company at night.

  6. Sharing the bed is always the best place to be when the weather gets colder.
