Disturbed

We haven't  liked watching the news this weekend.  Too many crazy things happening  for  our liking.

Our Caturday  night rest was disturbed  by fireworks being let off in the carpark  next to our house at 2am and then 5.30 am.  Either party  goers, randoms or the next door neighbor  who is upset by the builders noises (the landlord says he had been leaving  threatening  notes on the builders van).

Compared to other places in the world  we have little to complain  about.  Mum got washing  out to dry a little bit  in the last day of autumn  sun.  There was  soup and garlic bread for her dinner, and leftovers  for her lunch.  I have a full tummy  with a nice feast , biscuits  and treats.  Lucky us.

    HeHe! No jokes please..! :).

The news around the world is terrible..
Tomorrow the 1st June, some of the things
in Lockdown are being lifted, families are
able to get together, kids going back to
school, though not all of them, at least
the parents have the final decision..
And the USA of course, what a mess..that
is about the last country in the world
l would want to live..and a maniac for
    a president..says it all..! :(.

If l was in my twenties, l think New
Zealand would be at the top of my list
to live, anything that comes on the TV
about New Zealand, l always watch..Next
    Friday on BBC4 there's a nature program
    on..so..l won't miss that..! :).

Never mind Poppy!x As long as you've got
a full tummy, biscuits and treats what
    more would you want..Bless!x

  2. To bad about the fireworks in the night. Hate those loud things
going off around here. Hope you have better night tonight and
    lots of biscuits and treats.

  3. We like Willie's comment! Being in Canada, so much of our news is about what happens south of our border. :-/ Best to just avoid as much of it as possible. 2020 will be a year for the history books for sure.

It sounds like you and your mum had a good day, in spite of the disturbances there on Saturday.

Take care, have a good week, both of you.

  4. I agree with Willie, too. But why are fireworks being let off in your town? A little more consideration for others is needed everywhere.

  5. We are having an uneasy weekend here. The riots weren't near us yesterday. But tonight we are just keeping our paws crossed.

  6. Mum hasn't been watching much news lately either. Not that she doesn't care, just that it makes her sad that people are so mean to each other.
