Verdict

Verdict - success.   I slept all night and day on my new heated blankie.  Mum says she is pleased that I will be comfy and warm.

She had a nice evening out.  She went and saw The Geurnsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society movie which she enjoyed very much.  A lovely and charming British film.  5/5.

Then she went and had a huge plate of chicken mee goreng noodles.  I got chicken too - the fancy feast kind.

    All day AND night ? You do need to get some exercise Poppy. Glad you and mum both happy though.

    And..If Mum wants to try making the Potato Peel
    Pie...
    Preheat an oven to 200 degrees.
    Grate the potatoes for the crust.
    Break the egg and whisk in the flour and salt and pepper.
    Bake the grated mixture for 20-25 minutes.
    Peel and boil the remaining potatoes and stir in the butter and milk.
    Spread over the potato peel crust and place under the grill until brown. .
    Serve....Enjoy! :0).

    Mum got us one when she saw them mentioned on blogger John’s site. Even though our house is warm, we love it as it feels good on our creaky old joints. A cat sleeping through the night is nothing to be scoffed at.

    So very happy you loved your new bed
    I have been having those same lady issues as your mum. But I think I’m coming to the end.
    I’m feeling the cold now!
    It also be ove lost a lot of weight so I’m missing my blubber suit lol
    Either way. It’s nice to have our fire going. All my cats are loving it
